- Why use a flat link?
Herm. Sprenger makes dozens of types of dog collars. All are precision made in Germany and all carry the HS-Germany imprinted logo on the rings, but only a few are FLAT LINK. It is easy to be fooled. On the left is a 2.5 mm flat link compared with the 2.5 mm round link. Both are made by Herm. Sprenger. They look a lot alike but work very differently.
-the flat link will not pinch, pull or break hair
-makes a distinctive clicking noise when the handler signals with the lead
-the true flat link is very hard to find. But guess what? You found it!
